Engineering Project Manager – Business Development

The candidate will be responsible to oversee the management of multiple custom injection molded quote projects.  Must be extremely detailed oriented, possess the ability to work in a matrix environment, and accomplish tasks with short suspense timing.  Provide expertise in areas including:  project management, plastics manufacturing principals, risk identification and mitigation, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas based on professional knowledge and background.  Create and track structured injection molded plastic project quotations and timelines to ensure that submissions and approvals are executed in accordance with customer requirements.  Coordinate activities to define the project scope, prioritize all deliverables and resources and guide the stake holders to plan and schedule project timelines and milestones.  Monitor day-to-day activities of the project and ensure work is progressing as planned.  Manage and maintain project portfolio and deliver progress reports, proposals and presentation.

Project Engineer

Prepares quotations utilizing supplier information, cost standards, technical information, manufacturing engineering, tooling and design.  Reviews and monitors project progress to assure quality and adherence to requirements of contract documents.  Coordinate the First Article Inspection process.  Provide technical expertise on material and process selection, application development, tool design as well as manufacturing recommendations. Support company ISO and AS9100 work processes and ensure compliance of engineering department.  Provide independent, competent and timely support to customers, agents and company personnel in the areas of responsibility.

Machinist/Toolmaker

Qualified candidates must have 3 to 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment, as a manual machinist.  The candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints.  Sets up, adjusts, and performs ordinary machine operations on a variety of tools and machine details to close tolerances.  Aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials onto machines.  Studies blueprints, drawings and engineering information and assures completed details conform to blueprint requirements in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products, and determine product dimensions.  Must have own tools.  Injection molding and CNC experience a plus."
